K-Hair Pet: A Peptide That Can Permeate Through the Hair's Surface
There are disulfide bonds in our hair. And basically when you get a perm or something happens that breaks that bond. When your hair is damaged with heat with color, et cetera, that bond can break and you cause damage. A professor working in Portugal discovered a peptide that can actually penetrate through the hair's surface. So it's not just like a band aid, it's actually sort of reconnecting them.
