The Beauty and the Beast - Is That All?

The movie lands squarely in the beauty an the beast lane, and then it sort of deviates again. The middle of the movie is, to me, is onlyastrait rendition. I'm pretty sure that angel is the brother. That's why he was able to beat him in the battle. His angel was one of the three people that had beaten dragon. But they use a rule in this movie that kind of undoes all the varn which is, you don't choose your avitar. It's your, like, essential essence is who you are, right?
