Don't shove everything in one folder based on the date on your nast instead, slowly, overtime, create more and more rules which put things in folders based on the kind of file that it is. I would also think that may be this is an x y problem again. It's like jus at really need to happen once a week? Or is it just you need to have it there long enough to use it?
