Bruckner was the Bronxboro president in addition to being a soda pop king. City Council voted very soon after they died within weeks after their deaths to rename local roads in their honor. Robert Moses decided that these needed to be Expressways to move people efficiently and in quotes, because it always cracks me up That rationale for all of these roads was that it would ease congestion.
