Twitter's Blocking of Sub Stack Content
Twitter responded by blocking the ability to like or retweet any posts containing the word sub stack, throwing up a warning message if users clicked on sub stack links. Back users, the vast majority of whom are independent small business owners who depend on sub stack as an enterprise software provider, mostly responded to this by saying they would leave Twitter and use sub stack notes. Musk unfollowed Taibee and the sub stack leadership has made a few statements along the way that I've omitted here. And as of Sunday night, it does appear that Twitter has stopped throttling the sub stack content, although I still can't search for the word sub Stack on Twitter, which is hilarious.
