The Three Wars of German Were So Quick and Decisive
Two weeks after the declaration of war, the prussians were invading bohemia with hundreds of thousands of men. But bismarck advised the king and the general staff to pull up short and offer terms of peace. The object of this war was only eliminating austrian claims to power in germany. It was not about defeating the ans. That would upset the general balance of power in europe.
