Tolkien's Gnostish Jealous of the Creative Power

I am really sitting with a moment in the first book of the Silmarillion, where Iluvata, who's the creator God in this system, says to Morgoth. This is we're talking about how Tolkien's kind of Gnostish jealous of the creative power seeks to do the same thing and even seek to better it. But even doing that and introducing evil to the world, as IluVata says there, you can't you couldn't change this if I didn't want to. That's what I mean by lacking nuance.
