The aspect ratio taps into, we're afraid of anything we can't see, right? And so having that space on the sides of the screens where we kind of intuitively sense that there's more going on. Another big part of I think what creates that feeling is the lighting in this movie. Even when they were shooting outside, there wasn't really enough light. So they were like using muslin to bounce light off of and things to get enough light.
