German War Crimes During the Invasion of Poland

Before the invasion, Hitler's men created a massive index card library of 61,000 people who they would have to arrest and execute immediately upon taking over Poland. In one week in September, members of Einsatzgrupp of four killed roughly 1300 Polish civilians. This is when the Nazis truly distinguished themselves as worse than the other Hell regimes that existed in this period. We could do a whole series on German war crimes during the invasion of Poland.
