Roar: Chesterton was an essayist. He rocks the essay. That's his art form. Like the book, he has amazing books, but there's going to be essay or chapters that make no sense to you and chapters that stick with you. You're generally going to remember your favorite essays or chapters of Chesterton, not books. Roar: One thing you learn about Chesterton after reading a lot is one of the things I had such a tough time grasping as I created it. It grew in a group of like 20 guys, cigars, whiskey and Chesterton.
