The Secret Life of a GRU Agent

Ten GRU agents were arrested over the course of a single weekend in June 2010. They were all identified and under investigation for several years before they were actually arrested. Just a few days after their arrest an agreement was made between the US and Russian governments to swap all ten of them for four prisoners in Russia three of whom had previously worked with the US and UK governments. Meanwhile there's another example of a successful sleeper agent from even more recently which I just posted about on Instagram not too long ago. In fact she was never arrested or even investigated while she was on assignment and no one knew about her affiliation with the Russian government until years after she returned home.
