Are There Enough Homebuyers?
I think public-private partnerships incentivizing the private developers to find a way to build this missing middle. I think another part of the solution will be we're finally at an era where zoning laws are going to be relaxed a bit. The one, maybe a silver lining out of this rapid rise in affordability issues is that it finally has told local leaders that they have to think about what has been working and what hasn't been working.
