The Authorship of the Gospel of John

Gospel of John has resonances with the Jesus of the synoptics, right? He'll draw on some of the same imagery. But what Jesus does in John is an effect. He reinterprets all of these things where Mark, Matthew, and Luke are thinking or certainly Mark is thinking of a kingdom here on earth.
