In the first study, participants were manipulated into having a high moral identity. In this next study, they were measured simply on how high, sort of as a trait, as a personality trait, how high they were in moral identity. And they had everybody generate humorous captions, like a caption contest. They found that participants who are high in moral identity were less likely to create captions that involve moral violations.
