The restaurant that closed, that was my first. It was a small bistro in the east village in no lita, which now lita. Back then it was sort of no lit. I mean, the streets were just being taken over. And i put paper on the tables, and the silver ware was purposely not very nice. The idea was like, you're going to come in with an expectation, and our food and our service is going to surpass the expectation,. maybe just a little bit, but that's okay.
