If you feel yourself lipping into all good or all bad thinking, i want you to start to consciously look for information that contradicts the current polarity. The objective perspective is an amalgamation of subjective perspectives. That means you have to look at the spectives on both sides to form an objective picture of reality. In order to do this, you may have to pull yourself out of fight or flight mode. We need to notice we really feel and from there, regulate our nervous system in order to not let our distress trap us in all negative thinking states. Black or white thinking is a form of cognitive distortion. It is to miss the whole objective view of anything. So challenge yourself to hold
