I started with reading this book called starting strengths by Mark Rippetto which is like a very core text to lifting. The first line is like strength is the most important human attribute. So that was the night and day difference from the vibe of you go to a gym and you do three sets of 20 reps but also you're doing it. I was like I never I don't want to be bigger I only want to be smaller.
