How to Overcome the Boss's Message of No Union
"The boss message every day, literally every day in emails to them was you're never going to have a union," she says. "So I was like, all right, well, let's prove the boss wrong." She created a majority petition with signatures from all of the nurses saying we actually demand you drop the legal charges and we want to get to negotiations". The hospital voted 93% yes; it took 18 union investors $1.1 million to win.
