"I felt aspects of Elrond and his relationship to his father that went even beyond what I'd picked up reading" "The way they handled Erandal, in the multiple times that Erandal was brought up, I thought really well done. It did definitely, for me, bring everything back to the books," he says. He would have loved to have at least heard him mention his brother as well at some point but that might be being a bit greedy.
