Is God's Fire?
Abraham took the wood of the burnt offering and laid it on Isaac his son, picture of Jesus carrying the cross. He knew in advance that Isaac would have to come back from the dead. Why did he take the fire? Why not just make a fire when you get to the top? God had lit this fire. When Noah built the ark, did Noah close the door of the ark? No. It was God's judgment. So this is fire that at some point in the past God himself is lit. This is God's fire.
