NetCLS and NetPryo: A Controller for Your Network
NetCLS is a controller for your network, specifically for tagging packets as they leave the C group. NetPryo came along just a little bit afterwards and this is for handling priority of traffic leaving a C group. Freezer is used by tools like TC to be able to look at these tags and make routing or traffic shaping decisions based on them.
