The Ego Loves Secrecy and Lack of Transparency
The devil loves to do his work in the shadows. The ego runs a muck when nobody else is holding it to account. A lack of transparency leads to corruption and abuse of power. This happens at the individual level and the collective level. Other mechanisms include denial, projection, manipulation and abuse ov power.
