In schools that are in predominantly indigenous areas, like the rural momalis in wahaka and in chiapas, there is a predominance of indigenous students. There is much more of a claim to indigenous identity. And even ay, a much more of an emphasis at these schools, especially in indigenous areas, that the curriculum should include a more of a consciousness to what it would mean to teach in indigenous communities.
