"I think all plants, all teacher plants are sacred. You know, that nature put them here for a higher purpose," she says. "Why do we have to go there and break it apart to try to create something that will simply harm our bodies? It's like the human tendency to play God, right? Makes no sense." Her first experience with any type of plant medicine was with Ayahuasca in Brazil but her most powerful one was with Iboga from Africa.
