A prominent Southern Baptist pastor was arguing about this running up to the convention on Twitter and said there are 3.3 reasons you have to reject women in pastoral roles. Lydia: I don't know how you can be so confident that you've found the authority of Scripture on this issue when your ancestors were just as confident that they were holding to the authority of biblical law. It's very similar to, I'm going to bring up Ken Ham and the arguments over Genesis 1, because Ken Ham's point is if you reject my interpretation of Genesis 1, you're rejecting the authority of scripture.
