Are You Making Judgments Based on a Couple Different Factors?
Noise is the divergence in views of a same judgment. When people who are making judgments end up with different judgments about something, that is Noise. And there's sort of different types of Noise within the system. If one person can go to one judge one day and get a sentence for two years, and they go to a different judge, the exact same case, and they get sentenced to eight years, that's what noise is inside the system.
