He says that for early nomadic hunter gatherers they saw everything in a fundamentally different way than modern society. They see nature not to something separate basically like a giving parent their sort of root metaphor if you will of making sense of the universe with family so nature was apparent all other living beings were relatives because nature was apparent, he says.
