Is Badami a Good Place for Rock Climbing?

Badami and the Malaprabha Valley is a hub for rock climbing in South India. The sandstone cliffs that are there actually just form a kind of a disjointed U shape, which is more or less open to the east with a rolling sandstone hill. In 1999 on his way back from Mahakuta I got lost. It was very funny because it was so thorny and bushy.
