Book Review: The Vanishing Half by Brit Bennet
Brit bennet's new novel, the vanishing half is about twin sisters with african american skin so light that while one lives as a black woman, the other passes as white. The book just so happened to come out in 20 20 at the height of the george floyd protests. In an interview with n p rs mary louise kelly, bennet talks about writing and how different characters respond to images of unrest.
