How to Make a Movie That Feels Grounded and Real
I wanted this to be an imperfect character in an imperfect world struggling to make meaning because for me, that's what filmmaking is. I've had to kind of transform and sort of pivot to go the path that was available to me as a filmmaker. And it means so much to me to know that you were affected by the film in any way emotionally and then you appreciated the filmBecause it was the emotional journey was what it was about for me.
