Is There a Triple Agent or a Dangle?
Western intelligences have to be very careful about what we call dangles, which is somebody who is presented as a potential recruitment prospect. It's really an impossible balance to strike. You need yo assume the information that you're receiving gets a lot of scrutiny and a lot of scepticism. But ultimately, you also can't assume that everything is merely disinformation. And so just as we're incentivising this reporting, i'm certain that western agencies are stepping up their ability to vet this information.
