How Does That Transfer Over to Rehabilitation?

There was recently something over here that put the sheriff's office, see here, i think they were the final say with private probation companies. They've now our local sheriff's office now has their own probation department, and there certan to oversee a lot of people. And to me, that just sounds cool. I want to work for it. But just that it centralized, it would actually make things a lot easier in certain circumstances, if you had the man power to d hi well. So i'm wondering, the skill set that goes to suppressing crime and violence, the mind set, the mental perspective, how does that suddenly transfer over to rehabilitation? You don't know if it's
