The Negative Sentiment Towards AI Regulation

I'm moving to DC specifically to you know essentially try to prevent crackdown on AI because the sentiment is so negative. I think that it's going to be something as devastating as kind of China's great turn inwards and I really am pessimistic on this issue. Brad DeLong says industrial policy needs to tell people what they're going to get from AI which means massive massive prosperity high quality cheap good stuff over road.
