Should I Sell My Mutual Fund Just Because It's Up?

If I'm a long-term investor and I'm taking income from my retirement accounts, did it make sense to take profits from a mutual fund that is up? If you were my financial advisor and I ask you that question, how would you reply? There are so many things that go into answering a question as to whether or not you should sell this mutual fund just because it's up.
