The military industrial world has just grown exponentially in the past 20 years and you see it driving down any highway particularly any highway or road in the greater d.c. area but i would also say across the country really. You have all sorts of just somewhat nebulous business entities dotting the landscape now that are providing services simultaneously for cops and military people and and contractors both domestically and abroad.
