The Origins of Gnosticism
The Easter story can be traced back to the Sumerian myth of the descent of Ishtar recorded in Cuneiform tablets over 4000 years ago. In terms of actual Gnosticism, I think my partner's dad went through a Gnostic phase. When we get to actually talking about the execution of magical ritual, it'll be essential for us to do some dedicated discussion on that magical frame of mind.
