Student Loan Forgiveness - Is That Fair?

CNN's John Sutter says he was extremely fortunate because he didn't have to take on $80,000 in debt for college. Many of his friends and classmates were not so lucky; they found themselves with tens or even hundreds of thousands of dollars just to go to school. Those who are against debt forgiveness have one major point: Who's going to pay for this? If $50 billion in debt gets canceled, it doesn't just disappear. Someone's got to foot that bill.
