A sortative mating means you're more likely to date people similar to yourself. This is a little like our discussion on preference and desirability politics. We tend to repeat the same types of people that we're interested in, personality or physical - so it's really interesting to examine what causes us to do these things. But by knowing about it better, I'm now able to work with it to better accomplish what I want.
