England was the most tightly governed and coherent kingdom in this period. Henry VI was just personally incapable of exercising those rights, but the Kingdom demanded that somebody had to do it. England's great nobles were the least powerful and the least independent of the King. Despite all that, we saw how England could dissolve under the right circumstances.
