Oregaveria is the founder and ceo of masieda, a company that sells tortillas made from corn grown by small farmers in oahaka. The idea was to connect with folks who had been producing corn for a long time for subsistance purposes, but did not have a market to absorb any surplus. We pay farmers up front, we as all of that surplus, and then we get that two shafts across the world. What could possibly go wrong? We'll find out later in the show.
