The Civil War starts because Abraham Lincoln got elected on a new States out West shouldn't be slave states platform. So they seceded the north said, now you're not allowed to do that. And then 1861, they have a war. It kills 620,000 people, which is half again as many Americans died in World War II or two thirds as many as have died from COVID.
