The Importance of Poetry in Contemplation
I know you don't write haiku, but there was a lot. There were a lot of poems in late in the day that made me think about some of the maybe a shared sensibility with haiku. And I felt like that while you're not writing in the haiku form, I felt like those things could really characterize. But so my equivalent of the haiku is the quatrine,. which is an old English form, with mostly iambic or trocheic rhythm. It just doesn't give form to me. That's a shortcoming in me, not in the form.
