"If you took the exact conditions of our society and culture ... set it on another planet, and wrote a script about it, I think the notes would be, this is unbelievable," he says. "There's no way these people wouldn't constantly question what the fuck is going on in the past." He adds: "These things at work that are right now, this isn't the idea. Why aren't we talking about this?"
