A point five degree celsius change is the difference between like, widespread damage and some damage. And that's probably the difference between saving a lot of, like, pacific island states and not. The report said we're going to hit one point five, and it's going to get worse. That was kind of the warning bell. It really is kind of life or death for smaller island nations.

Paris Marx is joined by Molly Taft to discuss why we need to act now to reduce emissions, what role carbon removal technologies can play, and how Silicon Valley is trying to shift our focus to future technologies rather than taking drastic action today.
