The ending took the puppet show from civil insolence to treason. Cersei is the one declaring that it's treason. And of course, as I just said, she gives the puppeteers to Kyburn. So that's as far as being punished for treason. It's even worse than the standard punishment for treason. Normally, you're executed or sent to the wall, but they're given to Kyburn as worse than either of those things by far.
