The Future of Mental Health Chatbots
The first mental health chatbot was in the 1960s called Eliza. Historically, we've been using machine learning and a specific part of machine learning called natural language processing to do two things. And where I am feeling like I'm having the whiplash from is all of these new large language models that are now supporting a generation of AI. It's an incredibly exciting space to be in but it's also one that we have to approach with a lot of thoughtfulness and care.
