I look at fueling before a run and even during a run as jump starting the recovery process. It's good to get in a hole when it comes to fatigue, you know, pushing the effort with a volume sometimes with really hard workouts. And I think so many of us like running is the fun part of our life. But after a long run, we are bouncing back to take kids to basketball games or clean the house. None of us are just running and doing nothing, right? Like we have lives.
