The Prophecy of Ettipus

The king's earliest memories were of his mother and father, the king and queen of Corinth. Ettipus went to Delphi and heard a prophecy so spectacularly awful that it had changed the course of his life. The prophecy he'd heard while a young man at Delphi was that he would marry his own mother and kill his father.
