The Discourse in the Wake of a Shooting

I try to stay off Twitter in the wake of a shooting because everything falls apart got all the terrible takes. I am annoyed by the turn the discourse has taken which is this there is now a concerted effort to make the thing that we talk about as the endangered people or victim class is the trans community. Let us not let us not mistakenly focus on the victims of the actual shooting that happened yesterday instead we should focus on the hypothetical victims of hypothetical future things.
