How to Distort a Person's Memory Using Photo Shop
Researchers wanted to see if they could induce volunteers to develop false memories. One study used photo shop and inserting participants into the picture of a hot air balloon. Pictures are even more distorting from that perspective, because we can mentally generate that image. And that mental generation is a big cue to us.
